While many of our projects are based in the Okanagan Valley, we have also successfully completed work across Canada. Dycor Builders has a proven track record of rapidly completing buildings of all sizes. For example, we lifted 51 panels for a 60,000-square-foot building in a single day and completed the entire project in just four weeks. We also excel in crafting custom buildings with intricate structural details, demonstrating our ability to tackle unique challenges.

Matt Cornies established Dycor Builders in 2021. Previously to that he worked 15 years with his father Bill Cornies, learning from him and expanding on his foundation and tilt-up construction knowledge...

Matt Cornies established Dycor Builders in 2021. Previously to that he worked 15 years with his father Bill Cornies, learning from him and expanding on his foundation and tilt-up construction knowledge. When his father retired Matt decided to follow in his footsteps and start his own business, carrying on the Dycor name and the commitment to excellence that has been established over the years. His passion within this field is centered around discovering innovative concepts in concrete and tilt-up construction. He has found that by using traditional methods combined with new technologies and advancements he is able to achieve more efficient and precise results. He hopes to continue growing and improving on his current knowledge and successes in an effort to deliver superior long lasting products.

Justin Mann has been working with Dycor for 14 years. He started his career with Dycor as a general labourer with some previous experience in framing residential homes. While working at Dycor he decided to increase in knowledge and attend graduate school with a focus on business. He made the decision to return to Dycor full-time in 2012. Over the years Justin’s responsibilities in the company expanded to running jobs as a lead foreman followed by taking over managing the office fully in 2021. Justin is an essential asset to the Dycor Builders team. He brings to the table a practical knowledge of building tilt-ups which he is able to combine with his learning experience at business school. He has always had a forward thinking mentality and is able to put into practice all his acquired skills to achieve the goals of the company.

Jon Stack started working with Dycor in 2012. Before his employment with Dycor Jon had a keen interest in woodworking and spent four years framing residential houses and doing full house renovations. During his time with Dycor, Jon consistently showed that he has pride in delivering quality work with speed and efficiency. Throughout the years he has demonstrated an incredible commitment to both the work that he does and to his fellow employees. His work ethic and positive attitude has always made him a stand out role model, making him an obvious choice to step into a leadership role, which he did in 2020. He now expertly manages crews as a lead foreman. His ability to facilitate cooperation and productivity in his team is one of his greatest assets.

Aaron Porter came to Dycor with 5 years of previous experience as a supervisor/foreman in the commercial construction industry. He has his Fourth Year Carpenter Certification and also has a wide range of heavy equipment and safety certifications. Since working with Dycor Aaron has shown that he is highly skilled in his knowledge of concrete formwork as well as his ability to manage a project. He continually delivers meticulous high quality work, and he is always eager to obtain new knowledge and skills that increase his ability to produce superior results. Aaron manages his projects with a consistent and professional attitude. He is an affable leader with exemplary communication skills. The latest project he managed was a 144,914 sq ft premium industrial building by the Kelowna Airport. He was able to seamlessly orchestrate the construction of this complicated build with expertise. Aaron has proven himself an indispensable part of the Dycor team.
