Over the past decade, Vernon Christian School has experienced remarkable growth, with enrolment increasing by approximately 50%. Today, the school serves more than 470 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 and demand continues to rise.
To meet this growth, VCS is moving forward with a major expansion project designed to provide students with the space, resources and facilities they need to succeed both academically and athletically.
The “Make Way” Expansion Project
Appropriately named “Make Way,” the expansion reflects the school’s commitment to making room for future generations of students while enhancing the overall campus experience.
The upcoming development will include:
- A brand-new high school gymnasium to support athletics, physical education and school events
- Additional classrooms to accommodate increased enrolment and enhance learning environments
- Improved parking and traffic access off Pleasant Valley Road to better serve students, staff and families
