We’re currently looking for a Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow their career with a company that values craftsmanship and integrity.
What You’ll Do
As a Skilled Labourer at Dycor Builders, you’ll play an important role in supporting our site operations, carpenters, foremens and site supervisors to ensure smooth, efficient progress on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with formwork, concrete pours, and finishing tasks.
- Strip formwork and prepare materials for reuse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Support site preparation, layout, and dewatering as required.
- Read and interpret basic construction drawings and elevations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Follow all health and safety policies and promote a “safety-first” mindset.
- Perform other general construction tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial construction is an asset.
- Proficiency in formwork, concrete, or general carpentry preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
